"Okay," Avery looked over his shoulder to the doorway before taking a deep breath. "Do you ever feel like, I don't know. Squashable? Like you're a bug or something and your living on borrowed time til someone decides they've had enough of you. That's when the squash you." Avery Bishop was simply the first male witch in centuries. The title doesn't come without scrutiny. Avery can't help but feel resentment towards his family that shelters him so intensely, the family that can enjoy life without worrying some sexist witch won't slit their throat. He does what they do, goes where they go. When his family comes to the rescue of a wolf pack Avery expects everything to be covered in blood but boring all the same. However when Avery runs into her, he is surprised by how much she shatters his world. For better or for worse is the question.
