Ever since Woody ended up becoming Bonnie's toy after having been Andy's for so many years, he felt lost. He yearned for the days where we was played with more often, times he got to travel a lot, etc. Most importantly though, he yearned for his true love, Bo Peep. After having been separated from her for nine years, Woody reunites with her and finds himself not wanting to lose her again. The thought of losing her again terrifies him beyond belief.
