Nex is a gay autistic trans teenage boy just trying to make it through life. Bullies at school, transphobic teachers, and an abusive household make it hard to believe there's any hope of a bright future. Nex's only escape is music, playing his guitar. Soon, this changes, when the short quiet new kid moves to his school. Harper brings new light into Nex's life and together, Harper and New try to pass the test known as life.
