Cathy's life is quite simple. She works at a coffee shop in their townhouse. She would rather stay at their house after working than watch the boy that her friend is always talking about. "Handsome and talented" is what they call him. That night she let herself watch the "so-called talented boy," which was also the day her quite simple life became chaotic. He never leaves Cathy's mind, and she thinks that "that boy" is part of her past, especially since he always appears in her dreams.

Kyle Anderson, who goes by Kabe, lives in a small town where everyone knows everything about everyone. He isn't his usual happy-go-lucky self and hasn't been since the house fire that killed his Mom and sister three years ago. His dad has a good paying job and Kabe has a good relationship with him. At first, he never really thought about him, but then as he goes on, he begins to develop feelings for him like he'd never imagine. He runs into some trouble along the way but he stays strong with the help of Seth and with the help of his friends. He is surprised at how much love can change you whether it's for good or for worse.
