Wybie and Coraline are going to the same school. So is his cousin. Also, there's the fact that Wybie is scared he won't make friends... then there's the crush on his teacher. Basically, life was happening and he wasn't sure he was keeping up... not to mention the fact that some supernatural things were occurring, danger hidden away before him.
