This is a queer-based story around two comfortable women, living in the mountains of North Carolina. (Disclaimer, I don't live there, I have no clue what it's actually like. Bear with me...)
This is simply a fluff story because:
1) I'm bored
2) I want to test my writing abilities.
I'm sorry to all you love-addicts out there, but this book will NOT be entirely revolving around romance and all that soft lovey stuff. I'm just running tests with my writing style, not over-romanticising lesbians. Besides, not every relationship includes just two characters in love forever. This story will have more than just the couple themselves.
Again, just a test run that I wanted to share. I have no idea if I'll go further than 2 or so chapters, but enjoy :)

This is my WIP novel that is currently undergoing some of its final editing stages. Any and all comments, fixes, thoughts, and constructive criticism is welcome! Four roommates all begin to find love at the same time. Isabel, new to the group and the real world, moves in to meet Candace, a very forward lesbain who immediately takes a liking to her. Isabel, who has never considered queerness before is nervous and off put, but intrigued by Candace anyway. Arianna builds walls around her that are typically very tough to break through. She uses her asexuality as a shield to protect her - if she believes no one will want her because of her sexuality she can ignore that someone may not want her for her heart. Two men, Emmett and Finn, start breaking through these walls though, and she has to figure out who she's going to pick before things get messy. Raylieghn is free-spirited and very sure of herself. She does what she wants, when she wants. But she's constantly running into trouble with the girl-next-door, Brooke, who she has undeniable chemistry and tension with. Zari tends to feel out of place and a little left out - while they love their friends and share their queerness, no one around them understands their experience with gender identity. When they meet Max at their new job, they have an immediate connection with him that changes all of that entirely. This is a multiple POV book with four main characters. *Each of the main four characters (Isabel, Arianna, Raylieghn, and Zari) will have their own novels - this is intended to be a five-book series*

There was something different about this coffee shop. I had been coming here for eight years and I just couldn't find myself ever losing interest in it. I just kept coming back. Whether it was to enjoy their delicious drinks and treats or just to relax and think. Or maybe it was just to enjoy and admire the flamboyant woman behind the counter. Mature Language involved. This is my first time writing a story like this. It is a work of fiction and is not a true depiction, any similarities (names and places) to things in real life are purely coincidental.

This is a story that I wrote as a gift for a special someone so she could imagine how our anniversary would have been since we couldn't be together for me to actually do this because of the distance. Its not the same as real life, but like memories, its now here forever so she and others can come back to read it and remember. Who knows, maybe this story will give someone else a few ideas that they can surprise their love and therefore help this story find reality and life in one way or another until I can breath it life. This story is written in a narrative first person style so it will read as if it is playing out in your mind as it is happening. The story is set in Jacksonville North Carolina which hosts Camp Lejuene, home of the 2nd U.S. Marine Division. The first few chapters are pretty clean, but the later ones are NSFW and actually are pretty graphic. Chalk it up to a little sexual tension between us at the time. The chapters will be marked which ones they are.

Deimos Alexander, a hyper ADHD 20-year-old, was shocked when he realized that a new business had opened up across the street. He looked in the window and saw (In his best friend's words) an "Emo in the wild" tattooing someone. He makes a bouquet for him and places it on his porch step. He almost dropped his coffee the following day when he saw an oil pastel drawing on his welcome mat from the tattoo artist. Trigger Warning: While this book is a majority fluff there are a few angsty bits that face some grim topics including child abuse, dangerous parents, alcohol abuse, homophobia, transphobia, and harassment. This story includes quite a bit of swearing as well (blame my trucker dad for that) so viewer discretion is advised. No Smut whatsoever in this book.
