500 years after the destruction of the earth by strange meteorites, a whole new world was built, a cruel and unequal society is now in place, in the end nothing has really changed. In this world, we will follow the adventures of Light, a curious young boy of impure blood who has as his only legacy the old diary of one of his ancestors who lived through the transition between the old and the new world. Dissatisfied with this society in which he works to eat, he will set out in search of adventure, even if it means dying. He will search for the secrets of the old world, discovering another facet of this world, its good but also its bad sides.
