Seven phobias, one girl. Claustrophobia, Arachnophobia, Aquaphobia, Coulrophobia, Haptephobia, Pupaphobia, and Tomaphobia. Seventeen year old Jessica was fearless. She could do anything without getting scared, or even nervous. She enjoyed everything she had in life, friends, smarts, parent-like neighbors. But at times, it seemed she took it all for granted. When she gets a mysterious text message from an unknown number, she decides to ignore it, which could be the worst decision of her life. What will happen when she gets kidnapped by a mad scientist who uses her for her fearlessness, and truly shows her what fear feels like? "My darling, everyone's afraid of something."

Captive

Bridget Dunn's life was perfect--until she turned 30. On the day after her birthday, she found herself a prisoner in a psychological research facility designed to help her overcome her fears. She thought someone would come looking for her, but no one did. Instead, the only way out of the facility is to take control of her phobias. Little did she know her doctor had other plans in mind. Captive explores the world of the human psyche and how fear can cripple a person. Furthermore, the psychologist who runs the facility believes he can "cure" patients of their phobias through brutal tests and treatment processes. Bridget Dunn, one of the patients, must conquer her fear of the dark in order to win her freedom.
