you have been accepted into Hopes Peak Academy as the ultimate guitarist! excitement runs through your body as you think about what is to come this school year. but something seems off. you walk through the front gate and then wake up in a classroom with no memory of what happened. you look around and notice there are some windows covered up with thick metal sheets, a camera, a TV, and eventually you notice a note on the desk you are sitting in. You examine the note and it says to meet in the gym for orientation. on your way there you run into a girl. she has long dark purple hair that's braided all the way to her hips, a dark purple dress, and a red bow tie, she's a little shorter than you and has a nervous look on her face. before you're able to get a word in or even say sorry, she runs away.

Heads Up: This is a Next Generation AU for the series Danganronpa. There will be references to all 4 games as well as the anime, so if you're unfamiliar with the series then it is highly recommended you either watch gameplay or play the games yourself, as that will give you the best reading experience. Since this story is a fanmade killing game, there will be mentions of violence as well as Major Character Death, so if you know you are someone who is sensitive to that material then it is recommended you give this story a pass. With that said, onto the ACTUAL description! ----- Hopes Peak Academy. A prestigious school, one that carried respect and praise; it is said that attending the school would grant you a successful future, whether that be money, fame, or status. The students represent the future of the world, their titles as Ultimates representing the hope that followed our future leaders. Satoshi Ikusaba, the Ultimate Strategist, had a plan on how his first day would go- he made sure to prepare for ANYTHING that could happen. Breakfast before school? Check. School supplies ready? Check. Getting him and his step-sister to school on time? Check. Passing out at the front of the school and waking up in a weird hotel with no idea how he got there? Check... Except the only problem is that the last bullet point wasn't on his list, or even something he took into account in the first place! Thankfully, he isn't alone; With his step-sister Kazue Maizono and his closest ally Jun Naegi on his side, he'll make sure to find the mastermind and put an end to this killing game once and for all! Well this story is told by Makoto Naegi and Kyoko Kirigiri as they go through what happened to them after they left despair high school. The main characters are: Kyoko Kirigiri Makoto Naegi Byakuya Togami Toko Fukawa/ Genocider Sho Aoi Asahina (Hina) This is a fanfiction based on Danganronpa after the first season finished, it doesn't follow the Anime or video game closely and the majority of it is entirely made up. Some of the characters mentioned (later on, most of the characters) are my own creations and didn't appear originally in the franchise. **be prepared for a long story as currently I am writing chapters in the 60's, each chapter comes to nearly 2000 words.
