As the village girls ran away before coming of age, the villagers began to lose hope until a black crown appeared in the center of town. The crown would float away from those who attempted to touch it. Inscribed within the crown were the words, "If this crown selects what we desire, we shall stop the bad omens within your village. So long as you obey the decision." Sonic was loved by the children and was the savior of the village helping with every little task.
