The five factions.

Amity, the peaceful. Erudite, the intelligent.
Candor, the honest. Abnegation, the selfless. Dauntless, the brave.

Cecelia Parker was from amity, but she didn't quite fit there. She wasn't the kindest girl like she was supposed to be. Her mother being factionless and her dad being drunk twenty-four seven certainly doesn't help her situation. When every teenager turns sixteen, they take a test. The aptitude test. Then they must make a decision that will change their lives.

When the aptitude test brings up more questions for Cecelia, or now Celia, what path will she choose? Will she make or break her life? What happens when she catches the eye of her instructor and his enemy?

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? A/N : First chapter is a little sketchy but that is the case with all of my books. I promise it does get a lot better afterwards Start: Feb 06 2021 End: Dec 15 2021

||Book 2, please read Dauntless Initiate, before reading this one. This book picks up exactly where the other one left off for Tempest|| ||I own nothing except for Tempest, all of her plotlines, and some very minor characters that won't appear very often.|| ||Set in The Son by Veronica Roth, and takes place two years or so, before the book Divergent begins.|| ||There will be some potentially triggering topics, such as underaged drinking, swearing, mentions of physical and mental abuse. You have been warned|| Tempest has officially made it into Dauntless and has left her old life, old identity, and former faction of Abnegation behind her. She has made a friend or two among the Dauntless and although she still definitely prefers to always be able to walk alone at the best of times it is clear that she has begun to slowly open up. Even if it ended up being to one of the people that used to be one of the members of the faction, that she was raised to hate, with every bone in her body. When she gets visited in her quiet apartment by Max, one of the five Dauntless leaders, she gets an offer that she was shocked to hear. Because even if she had been ranked first... who would have ever thought, that the willowy, clearly under-fed girl from Abnegation, could ever become a candidate for any faction leadership position? Let alone the faction that was mainly only just formed to protect the city around them, from any and all threats? ||Follows the events of 'The Son' by Veronica Roth and my own plotlines entirely after that. Tempest is my main character.|| ||Dauntless Series|| |Book 1: Dauntless Initiate| |Book 2: Dauntless Member| |Book 3: Dauntless Leader|

"You thought that you made me weak and vunerable. Wrong, I got stronger" I say with so much hatred while I am holding him over the Chasm. He is trying to reach me but can't. "Zorro!" someone says behind me and I roll my eyes. Of course he had to come. "Don't do it" he continues "I have every right to! He ruined my life and now I'M ruining his life" I scream so that he can hear me over the loud sound from the Chasm. I give him (who I am holding over the bridge) a dead stare before I let go of his collar. I don't even look at him when he is falling down into the Chasm. Then I walk away like nothing happen. Zorro is the only girl in an Amity family with five brothers and a father. She is like a shadow, most people don't know that she exist. She was beaten by her brothers as long as she can remember. Now she is sixteen years old and about to choose faction. Does she choose Abnegation to find peace from her past? Or does she choose Dauntless to get revenge on her brothers? I only own some of the characters (like Zorro, Sara, etc) all right goes to Veronica Roth.
