Emerson.  She awakens from unconsciousness, not knowing what happened, where she was, or who these two guys with guns were. Two guys pointing guns straight at her. She was terrified.  Looking around her surroundings she noticed things changed.  There was no more people. Everything was demolished. Peices of tarnished buildings scattered everywhere. Then she noticed there was people. Dead people, laying on the ground twenty feet apart. Nothing gruesome but enough to let her heart sink and drown with her memmory. "What happened?" She doesn't remember any of it. She doesn't remember the buildings falling, the people dying, or why she was laying on the ground with dirt all over her. She also doesn't know why these two guys are now looking at her with uncertainty. Then one scowls. She widens her eyes as one gun is aimed straight at her. She is oblivious to why everything changed, why this guy aims a gun at her for no reason. And why she doesn't remember anything.

Trapped. No past, no name-only fragments of faces and voices remain. Strangely, she remembers her classmates, yet her own identity is a void. But they are not as she recalls. Their faces, their mannerisms, their very essence-changed. Twisted. Still, she clings to them, for they are her only link to the truth. "This is a school... but why is it always dark? Why does no one leave?" "We're trapped. Can't you see that?" She must escape. She wants to escape. But stepping outside alone is unthinkable. The unknown waits beyond these walls, and survival is uncertain. She searches for her classmates-only to realize they are few. "Only a few of us survived." Fear coils around her mind. Isolation. Dread. Desperation. The weight is unbearable. Exhaustion takes her, and when she wakes-she is back where she started. But this time, she is not alone. A figure stands before her. Unfamiliar, yet they gaze at her with knowing eyes. "Do you want to get out of here? Together?"
