A samurai's duty is to protect and to serve dutifully, that much has always been clear.  But when new lines are drawn and old ties broken, who does a faithful warrior turn to?  

When Wu uncovers a mysterious legend about an honorable samurai, he immediately notices that something about the very essence of the story's details does not ring true.  Before he can even begin to delve into tales of both history and the future, he disappears from the face of Ninjago.  Determined to ensure that the ninja will not have to face losing their master once again, Pixal, secretly Ninjago's great defender, Samurai X, jumps into research that leads her to a journey of her own.  

Days pass, and without any sign of either of them, the ninja frantically ask all of their allies for help finding answers.  An unexpected tip soon leads to a meeting with both a new friend and an old one, both of which hold a part of the puzzle as to the disappearances.  Soon, it is discovered that the disappearance of yet another individual links together what the ninja had once thought to be separate paths.

This story takes place a while after the events of season 12 (Prime Empire), but before/excluding the events of season 14 (Seabound).

Werewolves (a Ninjago AU) by Lava_Serpant

(I only own the plot none of the Ninjago characters and this is basically a AU) Cole is the alpha of his pack and has lived in luxury his whole life though he isn't one who hasn't had hurt in his own way. His pack is the most powerful one in the world and he's one of the most feared yet fair leaders of the werewolf community that took up most of the world besides some human villages and towns that stick to their human selves except for one night a year. Every end of summer each town offers female humans in towns squares between 18-30 for werewolves to see if they are the mates of any werewolves and were only to be taken if they were the mate and only the females are offered. Cole has no mate and he needs a Luna too help him rule his pack because he can't do it alone and it's starting to weigh him down a little. So what does he do when he does meet his mate, but it's nothing like he suspected? Kai's a orphan with his little sister his mother and father were killed by rogue werewolves during a attack and topped with the possibility his only family might be offered to one like a slave. Well he grew a deep hatred for them and everything they were. When Nya turns eighteen she's sent as one of the offerings while he's in the church. But scared of loosing his only family he vowed to protect he snuck out of the church to stop his sister from being taken like so many others. But what happens when he gets caught by one of the werewolves, but doesn't die?

Along with a faction of other Elemental Masters, the team is swept up in a surprise tournament. But there is something about these two sisters that doesn't sit right. After the battle against Harumi and her gang, Ninjago was in safe hands once again. But the fear of the looming question stood still. Was Lord Garmadon back? The Ninja, a group of 6 friends, found out what had happened. Harumi had half succeeded in bringing Garmadon back, bringing him back home as his normal sensei self. A few years after the reunion of Sensei Garmadon back to the monastery with the Ninja, some of the team decided that they were ready to have a family outside of Ninja duties and between missions. Sometime, a call about an abandoned building had light coming from one of the 10 story floors, showing suspicious activity. The building itself used to be a laboratory, and used as a secret base for suspicious people. Lloyd, the Green Ninja, and the rest of the team had been called to investigate this building and retain any suspects. What they didn't expect was something more worrying. ~~~ A Dragon's Loyalty | A Daughter of Lloyd G. Kai's always wanted to be a leader, but his hothead kept him from properly fulfilling that role, but know, he has to teach the team a new form of Jitzu, one he found on his journey. Jay and Nya are just in a park enjoying their picnic together as a lovely couple until they get attack by some bad guys that are all wearing black. They're attacking Nya and Jay and there fighting them back. One of them were gonna shoot Nya in her back and then Jay sees this so he runs and pushes Nya out of the way and Jay gets shot and dies.... The strangers left and Jay was dying in Nya's arms. He told her something then just like that Jay's electrical blue eyes were gone they turned grey, his smile for once in his life was a blank face. Nya cried and cried. She finally snapped out of it and carried Jay home and told the others. She thought that they could help him but they couldn't it was no use. Nya cried and cried in Kai's arms. Jay was gone forever.... Or that's what they think..... Two weeks later Nya is at the mall and sees Ronnin and he told her that Jay is alive. It's been almost a year since Nya left the team and merged with the sea. Ever since then Kai and Jay have not been the same. None of the ninjas have. But most of the others had learned to move past it. While Kai and Jay still have their moments of Grieving. Wu was worried about them. She could tell that they still were affected by her "death". Though she was still physically alive, the Nya they knew was no longer there; the Nya they loved was dead. But Wu's worries only grew when he left one day to go do his smoke visions in a more quiet and peaceful place. The other ninja had left to go do some work in Ninjago city while Kai and Jay stayed behind. The two boys recently have been near each other often. They seemed to be discussing something but none of the others would know what. As one of the others comes over they keep their mouths shut. Wu sat by the fire and meditated. How he would love to be able to see what has been going on in the two students' heads, but there was no possible way of doing so. He hummed as his smoke visions started to appear. Everyone was as happy as could be as expected but then the visions slowly started to darken... He awoke again with a small burst of panic but quickly calmed down, he knew to keep them safe. He had to prevent them from whatever they might be trying to do... Little did he know... he was already too late. What did Wu see? What is Jay and kai planning? And who may They be?
