Set in the fictional cyberpunk-esque British coastal city, called Foundation City, in the years of 2025-2027+ , Tyler Reed aka The Insomniac is a chemistry professor by day & sleepless vigilante at night, whom was cursed by a demonic shadow entity, nicknamed "Nightmare Fuel", at a young age, giving her the ability to predict tragedies in the form of vivid nightmares. She became an Insomniac to protect people from her strange ability and ultimately became a vigilante to also redeem herself for the predicted tragedies she believes she unconsciously caused.
