14 year old Sara Marvin is moving away from her precious Florida to Michigan, her dad got transferred there. Her mom and brother Timmy are all excited but Sara sure isn't. Here's the thing Sara can't talk. She never has been and never will. Jenna and Michael her two best friends back in florida understood her, they didn't get frustrated with her or turn her down when she needed something. They actually thought she was fun. It was hard enough for Sara to make good friends in Florida, but how will she start over in Michigan? This book is written half in verse and half not.

Allison Lorenzo's friends in her quaint little Michigan hometown have turned against her, leaving her empty and feeling utterly alone. To escape, she goes to visit her cousin Renee in California for two weeks. She is surprised to find out that her childhood best friend, Luke Cooper, now lives there, and the two quickly resume their friendship, starting exactly where they had left off. Luke falls for Allison, but will he be able to break past the walls she's been building around herself? Who knew that so much could happen in just two weeks? -- Here is a summer romance I started writing a looong time ago. So it's not up to par with my other stuff, but hey, why not? I completed about 6.5 chapters, and I want to finish it in honor of a friend, even though I'm not sure where I was even going with the story at that point.
