As the Last City regains some semblance of normalcy after the fall of Crota, a new threat begins to slowly creep its way into the solar system. In the midst of the noise, Rex decides to put his days as a champion of the Crucible behind him in an attempt to build a more serious reputation within the Tower and Vanguard. Unbeknownst to him or his fireteam, a shadow would be cast across the Last City that would irreversibly change Rex and all guardians forever.
