Young Haylee has a very rough life. At 14 years of age both her 2 parents died. Nobody would tell her what happened. She found no clues around her aunts house. She thinks it was murder. A deathly murder. The only reason she keeps playing her beloved softball is because if she quits...her parents would not be proud of her. Yet softball is the last thing she wants to do but if she dosent do it she has a tingling feeling in the pit of her stomach that something bad will come for her. Something that will make her feel unworthy and transform her into a whole different person. So softball is the only way she feels safe and can really express herself. If she quits something very frightening and gruesome might happen to her.
