TW for; abandonment, cursing, and emotional neglect.
the backstory I'm writing for Shinsou has some parts that is HEAVILY inspired by the TikToker Denki Darling <3
Backstory
Growing up, Shota Aizawa, or Eraserhead, had always been Shinsou's hero. Even before Aizawa knew about it. Hitoshi first discovered Eraserhead when he first watched the news. He heard Aizawa saved thousands of lives and it inspired him to wanna become a hero just like him.
When Hitoshi was five, his mother yelled at him and cursed at him for having the quirk he did. She told him that he's dead to her and she's getting rid of him. He was never close to his mother and never met his father. He was thrown into foster care. Each time he was adopted as a foster child, he would get thrown back in every single time, for the same exact reason; his quirk.
He had this one foster family while in middle school. He was physically abused and if he did something wrong, he was often locked in the closet with no dinner and had a muzzle put on him. It was one of the punishments he had to go through because of his quirk.
The police were soon contacted after this and he was put back into the foster care system. He got sick and tired of it so he became a runaway. He managed to get himself a job at a coffee shop for income for the time being. He applied for U.A. and got in, but was approved for General Studies instead of Class 1A. Soon after that, he started training with Aizawa, who adopted him with Mic.
Even now, Shinsou still has nightmares about his past and barely ever sleeps because of it, and survives off of caffeine. He absolutely despises sleep because he almost always has nightmares.
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
