I looked back at Pete, Joe, Andy, Jeremy, and Hayley. They were the only friends I had anymore.
Then I turned back around and looked into the eyes that had caught me so many times. The eyes that had mended my broken heart. The eyes that were always smiling at me, even when they were glistening with tears.
Then I thought back to the night he told me "infinity". He said everything would be infinite. I didn't understand what he meant by saying so many things would "last for infinity". But now I understood. Now I knew what he meant, and I seemed to be getting high off of it.

I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground.
