In a lush green forest, a baby is discovered by an undead mage wearing a dark torn cloak. The mage, unable to bear the sunlight, takes the child and raises him as his own, teaching him basic magic and swordsmanship. Named Sora, the young boy grows under his father's guidance, training diligently and mastering his elemental abilities.

However, the time comes when the undead mage realizes that he cannot restrain Sora's potential any longer. He requests to watch one final sunrise alongside his beloved son before turning to ashes besidehim.

 Devastated by his father's departure, Sora dons the tattered cloak as a reminder of their bond and sets off on a new chapter of his life.
