I fell to the ground, gasping for breath.
"Why? Why did he choke me?" I thought.
I could barely feel Obi-Wan press his fingers to the side of my neck, looking for a pulse.
The rest was a blur of yelling and lightsabers clashing. Then, I passed out.

What if Padme never died when she was choked, and survived childbirth?
I'm here to make that possibility come to life.
"The Unknown Truth" is about Padme being the head of the rebellion and Vader being the head of the Empire. They both don't know who the other is, but they hate each other. Padme raises her twins on the run with Obi-Wan and Ahsoka, while Vader tries to hunt them down.
Join me for this adventure of twists and turns!

Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. Please note that I would never change the canon; this story is intended to explore what could have happened, not what should have happened. OCs are used very sparingly. Thanks for reading! If Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader) Survived In ROTJ
This story is based on the YouTube video by The Stupendous Wave, detailing what might've happened if Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader had survived the second Death Star (I also added a few extra scenes). The storyline belongs to The Stupendous Wave (except the extra scenes I added), and some of the wording from the original video is also repeated in this "what-if" story. However, I will admit that along the way, much of this short story was morphed into basically Anakin cuddling his children (which was something that I personally wanted to see happen). I know this strays from the original plot line, and I'm sincerely sorry, but I simply couldn't fight the urge to add these extra, "fluffier" scenes. (Again, I'm sorry if you'd rather have read a version that stuck solely to the original Youtube video.) All characters are the property of Disney and Lucasfilm, no copyright infringement intended. -Yes, I know I'm just a beginner at writing, but I really wanted to write this to give Anakin a happier ending, so hopefully The Stupendous Wave doesn't mind me doing this. Fanfic. Thanks to Disney plus my poor Anidala (Anikan / Padme) heart bleeds once more and I feel like such a 16-year-old all over again lol. This story takes place during The Clone Wars, after the pair attempt to save Obi-Wan on the planet Mustafar and the war has begun, but before their wedding. Anakin Skywalker has been Darth Vader for 6 months, when the Emperor sends him to Naboo on a mission. There he finds Padmé in hiding with two twin babies. What will happen when Vader(Anakin) finds out that he's been lied to? Is he capable of redemption or is he too far gone? Will Padme kill the only man she's ever loved or join him to rule an Empire... Anakin isn't in the suit, for the purposes of this story he looks the same as ROTS. Guardian of hope (Ahsoka Luke Leia)
What if Ahsoka took care of Luke and Leia ? This story presents an alternative version of the conclusion of the Episode III of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The idea to develop that story came in my head after seeing the gorgeous fanart made by the very talented arbor_draws on Instagram where Ahsoka holds with one hand Luke's and with the other Leia close to her chest. The pivotal moment is the duel on Mustafar between Vader and Obi-Wan. In this story, Anakin is victorious and brings Padme back with him to save her. Fron that moment, everything changes for the Skywalker family, and for those who are closed to them, especially Anakin's former padawan, Ahsoka Tano. To read this Fanart, you must have seen the Prelogy, but also the Siege of Mandalore Arc in Season 7 of Clone Wars. Some concepts are also developed in the Star Wars Rebels series. Please keep in mind that I'm trying as hard as I can to make the whole story enjoyable to read, but english is not my native language.
