Sasha Waybright is a star player on the women's football team at North Angelwood University, or NAU. She has a certain reputation around campus; she's undeniably attractive, notoriously brash and has every student believing the same collective thought: she's a player you just don't mess with, on or off the field. So when Anne Boonchuy, a journalist for the university newspaper, bumps into the jock, she finds the so-called "hardcore" athlete is more than meets the eye.
