They were tired of hearing your voice." Those two sentences changed a young girl forever. Meet Cameron Lott. She's a senior at Gateway High School just trying to get out without anyone noticing her. What high school story about a shy girl isn't like that? But here's the thing: Cameron hasn't actually spoken to another person for 8 years. Sure there are a few giggles prodded out of her, she is human after all, but beyond that there's nothing. Absolutely nothing. When she has to spend more than 90% of her time with the very person who had ruined her in order to graduate, things take a turn. After all, who would have thought that the one who caused her to stop talking would be the one to make her want to start again?
