Blocking that certain memory, Zia tried to live her life normally. She's living for now and tomorrow, forgetting yesterday. For her, it's not worth to remember even if it's still etches on the back of her mind. That's why she did her best to avoid those things that can remind her of it, she succeeded but not entirely. The sound of the gun, exchanges of punches,  green grass tainted by blood, the lifeless body on the ground and the sky as the reflection of chaos, the first and longest battle she witnessed only concluded by the wind. Those things clearly leave her whole being of scar. Scar that will remain fresh every time the sun will start to bid it's goodbye and the wind solemnly made it's pressence known. Would she able to have a normal life if she just neglected the particular part of it?

It was a complete three-sixty. From the girl casually winding up at the bar who suddenly turned into someone's pretend girlfriend, Nastia Kahlila Quijano never saw it coming. There was no other choice but to treat him as an off-limit, like a whiskey bottle hanging at the top shelf-seemingly invisible to her eyes. After all, Nika was only returning a favor. Pretend relationships were bound to end anyway. But the thin line between their make-believe and their reality were beginning to blur. They couldn't draw out what's real and what's made up anymore. Then the boundaries began to solidify and the haze was gone. The line became clearer than before, reminding Nika why it existed in the first place. Maybe it was too soon.
