Summary: 1920-1930s England: Dan is an orphan working as a paper boy, selling as many papers as he can on street corners while trying to save up for the day he turns 18 and needs to leave the orphanage. Phil is a regular guy working as a salesman and buys a paper from Dan every morning without fail. As they see more of each other, they realize their relationship goes farther than it should.
