Long ago, before the dragons disappeared and the faires vanished, lived a time of wild magic unconfined and free. It was wonderful until too many who couldn't possess its attributes grew weary and started purging the magic users. A war broke out between humans and creatures.
enraged by this, the Queen of all things wondrous set a curse upon the land that all humans be split in two, never to find their other half for all their lives.
