Ariadne Alternative: 2035
The year is 2035, alien drop pods have fallen out of the sky and destroyed major cities, alien troops known as Hostile Alien Lifeforms (HAL) expanding like a swarm of locusts. In the Edmonton Impact Zone (EIZ), an outpost known as Ariadne has been built, like other outposts its function is to study the HALs and defend humanity.
