Aetna Springs, a young girl born in Shadyside, grew up in an abusive household until the age of 8 when she and her mother ran away. They moved into the neighboring town, Shadyside, and lived with her grandmother. She grew up with this continuous worry that her father would find her and hurt her. She always had a worry that she would end up hurting someone else.
