Why should the heroes win? It's a simple enough question, likely with an even simpler answer, right? The hero of the story has good morals, the hero fights to help the people, the hero beats the villain.

The "hero" parades around town, destroying everything in between them and success, the hero doesn't save, the hero doesn't protect, the hero kills, often without retribution. Lest we not forget those who do stand up against this mutiny. Our twisted society calls them villains with no regards to how their precious saviors do precisely the same thing under a different guise. This is how the world works, and it will always work this way.

But you, precious little you, you believed that you could change the way the world turns with the snap of your fingers. Yet when push came to shove, you failed.

I must admit, your reign came like a storm. You wreaked havoc wherever you desired, desperate to show the true colors of the world's greatest heroes. I'm sorry to say, you've gone about this the wrong way, and landed yourself in one hell of a situation. I may be able to break you out of prison, but that comes with the promise that you help me finish what you started.

Through the darkness, the computer screen illuminated the pale skin of Adelae's face around the black mask. Scrolling through the submitted questions, she came across one that made her smile. "Dear Lady Shade," She read aloud to herself. "Why did you choose to be a villain instead of a hero?" She chuckled, shaking her head at the simple, loaded question, before selecting it and opening the page to write a reply. "Hello Blogger KittyStan41. I bet you're expecting the classic tragic backstory in response to this question." she typed. " Dead parents, treated like trash as a kid, and it all came to a choice between rising to defeat my inner demons or succumbing to them. Well, my real answer is possibly something you haven't considered about the world of Heroes and Villains. Answer this for me, what is the goal of a hero? To make the world a better place, perhaps? No, dear KittyStan41. The classic goals of the Hero might seem epic and noble, but in the end it all comes down to stopping the Villain. What kind of life is that, when your only goals derive from the actions of someone else? Your whole life is used up as a preventative measure. Now does that sound like a good way to live? "I chose to be a villain not because I enjoy hurting people, but because I have goals that I plan to achieve. Don't bother asking what they are. If I told you, everyone would know, and people (baby heroes) would get in the way. Then how would I achieve them? I aspire to more. Is there need for a better reason?"

ON HOLD (Completed mark) since august 2025. "HAHAHAHAA! The ninja really defeated the Sons of Garmadon? They really did us a favor this time! Haha!" Who in hell want's to be the hero? Heroes are there to punish the villains, but with no villains, there is no need for heroes. But even without heroes, villains still exist. But no one wants to be a villain. They're all scum with inhuman morals. Actually, their both scum with stupid morals. That's where we come in. Antiheroes. Or in our case, the Blood Serpents. Not to be mixed with Serpentine, no, no, those guys are a whole different thing. Don't go mixing us with those sever slitherers.
