It's the story of Maria and Susan. Or rather, just Susan, now that she's lost herself stuck between life and death, a phantom watching, invisible, unnoticed, as her past lover moves on with her life, and she is left in the corner to pick up the crumbs of what used to be a beautiful, magnificent and blossoming love story.

Because sometimes life might be fair, and others it leaves you with nothing but a broken heart, before anything could really happen.

TW: themes of death and grief are spoken about.3

inspired by tolerate it by Taylor Swift, so yeah there are some references to her songs throughout the story. It's sapphic btw!!

the song is the property of Taylor swift, but the rest of the work is all mine, so please don't steal. I've had this story in my drafts for so long it has become something very personal, I would kind of hate seeing someone repost it as their own

that being said, I hope you enjoy it :))

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
