Mira always wanted to escape her town, but when her father disappears and she becomes trapped in a castle under a spell, she wonders if escape is really what she wants. ///// It's a story you've heard before, but it's not quite the same as you remember. Mira is an introverted, bookish girl who has never felt welcome by her small, isolated town in New England. While she can't wait to leave, she can't leave her ill and unstable father to live alone. When her father disappears in the woods, she can't help but think of the stories that have been told of a strange place hidden there and a creature that lives within. In a strange world that seems like a window into the past, she's slowly taught that maybe she is worthy of love and not everything (or everyone) is how they seems. But when the modern world begins to trickle into this new one, can she risk her freedom to protect a Beast from the people that don't understand? (This story belongs to Disney, I just wanted to tell it in a different way. Thank you to my little sister and my older brother for sparking this idea.)All Rights Reserved
