Athena Henderson was fine, as she had always been, but she wasn't completely fine. Nobody knew something about her, and no one will ever know if she had anything to do with it.
It all began when he passed away. Her screams echoed throughout the mall as she watched the love of her life die right before her eyes. But it was summer, and they blamed it on a mall fire; now she just wants to forget about it and go back to her normal life.
She meets a boy who is a breath of fresh air for her, the polar opposite of who she is. He's fire, a bad boy who enjoys the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. She's silk, the innocent blonde girl who just lost her boyfriend, but underneath it all there's a darkness calling for her.
