A routine mission for the Bad Batch. To get in, to grab the intel, and get out. Nothing to it. Simple as that. But, this time it was anything but a simple mission. Crosshair is back with the squad. Echo, is put in charge after an incident disables Hunter. The tension between the Batch members rises as the mission goes totally awry. The story is set some time after season one of the Bad Batch.

An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
