Samantha Williams is your average respectable young lady during Victorian Era England, except that she's not so ordinary. She's haunted by a terrible illness, or 'curse' as her mother likes to call it, that makes her do ghastly things on full moon nights. Samantha is determined to keep this illness a secret at all cost, but one thing leads to another, and she finds herself carried along in a world of Ghosts (cursed soulless beings who are forced to dwell around on earth forever and consume the souls of the living) and their Hunters. Samantha will discover things about herself she never would have believed possible, and will be forced to face challenges far more difficult than simply finding a suitable gentleman to marry.
