The story of Peter Pan and Wendy Darling ended when she sought to return to her life in London and grow up, but no one thought to tell Peter that that was their ending. Hold up in the hangman's tree with no Lost Boys to keep himself busy and no pirates to distract himself with, Peter creates the false reality that their return was a game - one he had been upset that they'd decided to play and tells himself that he had banished the parties for a week as a result. When the time finally came to return to London and retrieve his friends from the end of their banishment, Peter discovers that Wendy has grown old. The girl he had once defeated pirates with and had taken to mermaid lagoon is old and wrinkled and speaks of something called a "granddaughter" asleep in the bed she had once occupied. He had expected to take her back to Neverland with him and the Lost Boys, where they could continue their games. But Wendy is through with the childish games, and, in turn, through with Peter. After she dismisses him from the nursery for his inappropriate behaviour, Peter takes to the streets of London - unable to fly home - and stumbles upon a place that smells just as foul as the gully of the Jolly Roger where he meets a man who shapes Peter's young, impressionable mind in irreversible ways. The boy who never grows up is newly armed with an arsenal of weapons his young mind is incapable of processing. He uses them to convince Margaret to return to Neverland with him. He uses them when the evil Captain James Hook shows himself in Neverland again. And he uses them when the codfish steals Margaret from him, returning her to London where her mother and grandmother flee from the nursery and, in turn, Peter Pan's grasp. Unable to cope with the grown up emotions Peter's plagued with, he follows the man's advise. Follow the dark, twisted romance of Peter Pan and his Darling lover in waters left uncharted by the boy who swore he would never grow up.

"I've forgotten how to fly, Peter." Wendy looked ashamed. "That's okay. I can teach you again. Please come with me, Wendy. One last adventure before you truly have to grow up." ******* It was nearly half a decade ago when Wendy Darling awoke, finding herself and her brothers safely returned to their cozy little house on Bloomsbury Street after an almost dream-like adventure in Neverland. The pirates, mermaids, Natives,...Peter Pan. Every one of them were marvelous. And for years afterword, Wendy held out hope that Peter would visit again. Yet, he never did. And the Darlings grew like all children of the world. And as their minds transitioned from that of a child, they began to wonder if their adventure was only a dream after all. If Peter was only a dream after all. Without the Darlings' belief, Neverland grew dark and Peter started to change... But that is only just the beginning. An unwanted marriage, Hook's newest dastardly plans for revenge, an evil released upon the island, blossoming feelings, and a past threatening to be remembered. Together, these things will make Pan rethink the morals engrained into his entire existence. For Peter may discover that youth cannot provide him with everything he ever desired. ********* Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters except Joey.
