He is torn between being a Chemist and an Alchemist between science and magic. He wanted to prove that fantasy has a scientific explanation, turn lead into gold, and create a Philosopher's Store, the Elixir of Life just like in Harry Potter movies. 

But he is a man with someone else's memory who wanted to become a billionaire, attract women, heal people and get those dead back to life so that he can pay his debts in the U.S., stop being a gunman in Brazil, and plagiarist of novels in Japan.
