Love turned to Rivalry, and Rivalry turned to Anarchy. In a desperate attempt to create a place disconnected from the sorrows of the real world, Dream created what he believed to be a Utopia of joy and happiness. While on the other hand, Nightmare had his free-rain over the universe to bring his pain to everyone he could, in some attempt to spite his brother that no longer existed.
But for each they need something to help accomplish each goal, someone's that would be able to create such things as paradise and hell. Though at first neither were able to see the problems, eventually the rose colored glasses shattered, to reveal what really was.

I'll Keep You Safe
Dream, being the oldest of his younger brother, Nightmare, -by a couple of months, but the same age none the less-, tries his best to keep Nightmare safe. Even though he tries, he sometimes can't get to him in time when he needs it most. At some points he does, and at sone points he doesn't, but the only thing that Nightmare needs to know..is that Dream will always be there, through the tough and painful times. Dream..my be afraid of Nightmare because of his condition. He notices the signs as well to and for those signs but he knows that something will happen to Nightmare that he might regret but Dream will still hold him..with a smile on his face. Nightmare doesn't understand it himself but..what he does understand is that it causes him great pain. Pain that he can not hide. Sometimes the pain is so bad that it burns, and sometimes it feels like it's not there like a headache. But in the end..Nightmare will understand..and Dream..will try his best to help him through itComplete
Mistakes were made, but...
Cover not mine!! They have known each other for a long time. They have hated each other for as long too. They fought often, they each lost and won an equal amount of times. It was a routine of theirs. Destroying Alternate Universe, fixing them, destroy, fix, again and again. There seems to be no stop. No one would dare to get in their way, no one dared to help nor did any others tried to reason with them. Until this story... I will make a better ending one day, but for now I'm kind of out of ideas for this story :/Complete
Expectations and a Golden Stitch-A DreamError/Insomnia Fanfic
Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations. Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance. He has accepted these but it gets tiring when he already has the voices bossing him around or Fate reminding him that he should do more destruction. But he doesn't limit himself to destruction. He watches UnderNovela, admires the stars, and appreciates what he can. He pushes the limits of what is expected of him or disregards them completely. A trait that Dream eventually finds himself admiring in him, the known enemy of his friend. He knows that Error's feelings are genuine since he doesn't change in his presence(still an angry manchild). So when Dream gets wounded and stuck with Error on a whim, where will it take them? Will it be a mistake remaining in a hatred of enemies or will it change them both for the better? Could this admiration open Error up to corrupting Dream or will he be the influence Dream needs to against expectations and live for himself?Complete

Two stories, brought together by twists, turns, and a mess of events. (Y/N), a kindly soul from Recoverytale, finds themselves assuming the role of hero, a role they never wanted. Although they are safe with Dream by their side, no one else is. And that simply isn't fair, is it? (N/N), a bold adventure seeker from Recoveryswap, is desperate to find the Nightmare they loved-desperate to save him from the Darkness. But of course, it's never easy to save someone that hardly wants to be saved. The two souls both long for it all to end peacefully. They both wish for their happy ending, but it'll take more than hopes and dreams to get it. Meanwhile, Nightmare is in a state of divided conflict. As he rebels against the Darkness, the Darkness fights back. Nightmare is just as desperate as (N/N)-if he doesn't stop himself, the Multiverse will be torn apart at his hands. Dream is trying desperately to both protect (Y/N) and save his brother. But there's no time to save both of them before the Multiverse collapses into chaos. As a war rages on between positivity and negativity, (Y/N) and (N/N) are forced to work together-but it's not only their lives at stake. It's the life of the Multiverse-and a fallen prince-that's on the line. Break the cycle
The Multiverse for a long time has been an endless loop. Both inside the AUs and in itself. Error and Ink making a truce then breaking it in any possible way. The Dreamtale twins fight until Nightmare dies and Dream sacrifices his soul to plant a new tree of Feelings recreating a cycle. But, among everyone, there is one person who remembers each loop that took place and after a few centuries of trying to figure out what to do, he finally got it. He will break those endless cycles and try to finally give the Multiverse some peace. This is the story of that attempt.
