Since ancient times humans and Lamia have been mortal enemies. It wasn't until the human refined their weapons that they stood a fighting chance at eradicating the Lamia, and they nearly succeeded. Only a singular female survived by sheer luck. She stumbled upon a crack in reality. A way to slip in and out, to and from the void between worlds! She isolated herself in a realm of eternal stagnation only leaving to gather food. She was terribly lonely, but that would soon change thanks to a human child.
