Death. Some believe you either go to Heaven or Hell. Others believe it is a vast nothingness, or an eternal rest. However, Mike Shinoda realises this is not the case when his life is tragically cut short. He wakes up- exhausted- only to see that he is still on Earth. Mike is simply incorporeal- unseen and unheard by everyone.
     He's a ghost.
The shock is over quickly enough, and he becomes bored. In fact, he is absolutely out of his mind with boredom. Days, months, and soon enough years pass as he does nothing but roam the streets of Los Angeles.
One day, many years after he first awoke to this pitiful excuse of an afterlife, someone looks at him- not through him, but at him. Then... He speaks. He can see him. Mike is determined to know why. As he gets to know this man, for the first time in ages, he feels love.

"Is something beyond or am I all that I will ever be? ... Is it folklore or will you guide my soul forevermore?"

Forever

10 parts Complete

[Part Three of Confession Series] "The next time I look into your eyes will be the beginning of our forever." From the end of 'Confession' to 'Forever' is where part three of Mike and Chester's story lives. This doesn't pick up where Confession left off, it's way in the future. Mike and Ches are nearing 70. They have lived a lot of life together, and clearly very happily based on how close they are right now. It would be impossible to tell a linear story and cover 30 years of their lives. This is a mix of present day and memories, both Mike and Chester's. showing both sides of the memory - kind of like a narration of their combined recollection of the story being told. Enjoy this third part to the trilogy.
