The sound of his voice provoked a dreadful emotion in her.
Vixen was abducted and put through a series of experiments by a scientist named Benjamin and a Russian lady named Anastasia. This laboratory contains dead bodies, mutants, and creatures of the unknown.
Her friend Astril had been taken away from her, and now she is unsure of where they have gone. She faces guilt from her failure to protect them and is unsure of how to handle these emotions.
After she meets a few new friends, she wants to plan out an escape, but she has one question on her mind,

A static noise echoes in my ear, then an indistinct silence announces itself. "...Holt! Can you hear me? Answer me! Mr. Holt!" I want to say something, but all that escapes my lips is a groan.
