EU decides to go colonial

Due to the lack of gas in the EU nations in the EU agree to go get some gas by invading nations with gas which cause NATO to dissolve. How will the EU expand colonially without American support. Or better yet how will the EU survive with the new enemy they know as the United States of America? Possible part 2.
