People said our dads fell in love, but were kept apart by their parents. But dad said this wasn't true, and I believe him, I always have. He's not always right though. He also said that Scorpius Malfoy would be trouble, and I should stay away from him. But I stuck to him like glue and became his best friend instead. While his parents were away, we got to stay at his house, the famous Malfoy mansion. This story contains mainly Scorbus, with a little Wolf star hidden in there too- I couldn't bear to let them die in this version when they were so clearly married. Sorry Tonks x Obviously I don't own the characters, that's all Queen J K, and Warner Brothers, if you want to get technical. Also I got the idea from my favourite fanfic ever, "three weeks at Malfoy Manor", (google it, it'll be the first to pop up it's really good, I promise). As always, I pride myself on good grammar, but if you find any mistakes, please tell me so I can correct them. I spent a long time on this one. It was bound to wear thin someday and peel off, this mask of hers, she reasoned. Why not now? A stack of books. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Scorpius Malfoy, because he was never seen without one- often his thin face would be completely hidden by thick, musty old tomes. Even after going on that completely MENTAL time-traveling adventure with Albus Potter and having his birth status confirmed, Scorpius was still "that odd Malfoy kid," while Albus himself had suddenly become a Hogwarts icon. This made Scorpius feel second-best to a former fellow loser- never a good feeling. But he was bound to distinguish himself someday, he reasoned. Why not now? Scorpius Malfoy and Lily Potter. Two adolescents who were trying to break free from predetermined images that had been thrust upon them. Their only obstacles? Each other.

Rose can't put her finger on what it is exactly, that has caused this shift in her friendship with Scorpius and she hates it. She hates not knowing the answers to things, and this one replayed in her head all the time. She's stumped trying to figure it out, of course not realizing that it's her cluelessness that's the real problem. This story is filled with all the different types of love, family, friends, and yes, some romance. Follow Rose on her coming of age journey through her last two years at Hogwarts, where she learns all that she possibly can about magic, and possibly more importantly, about life. ***Note: This story was written before the Cursed Child, so not everything is completely "cannon" but more of my ideas on the next generation before the Cursed Child even came out. It's technically incomplete, but there's a chapter at the end that details where the series would have gone had I continued. The Triwizard Tournament has made its grand return, bringing a handful of students from Beauxbatons Academy and Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to Hogwarts for the 2022-2023 academic year. With new friends and foes to be made, this generation of students must navigate through the highs and lows of modern adolescence while simultaneously battling the same tragedies and dangers their parents and relatives faced long before their time.
