Rose Beauty is unlike any any other girl, being different kind of runs in the family. They have gifts, but Rose thinks hers is a curse. So when her dads moves the family to Pasadena,California from a small town in Florida on account for work. Rose enters high school where she meets Alec. Who just so happens to be the cutest nicest guy in school with a "gift" of his own. Her gift begins to act differently around him and so does she. But there's a problem the gifted aren't aloud to get involved with regulars cause there are consequences. Yet they can't seem to stay away from each other.
