Earth is dead, but her sister planet thrives. Humans have learned from their mistakes, and their Eden lays in front of them. But it does not belong to them, but rather an alien race known as the Kaiju.

So humans reverted to their old ways. They built war machines known as Jaegers, or hunters. Some worked officially. Others, known as Hermits, worked alone. Rogues used their Jaegers for vain purposes, illegal purposes.

Tommy and Tubbo are the youngest pilots to have ever successfully defeated a Kaiju. Both barely 18, they took down the first Catagory 4 Kaiju to ever come through the portal. They're known throughout the world, and their fame is unparalleled.

But when they find an old classmate, expelled and illegally piloting his own Jaeger, things start to change. Tensions run high, secrets are revealed, and the fate of the world comes to rest on the shoulders of the most unstable Jaeger pilots ever known.
