Caitlyn & Vi: The Void to Fill (an Arcane Season 2 Story)
I threw my arm around her. Then lightly grabbed her face as she had done mine before, "shhhh, it'll be ok, I've got you ..." I whispered. I didn't let go... Cover art adapted from @trixdraws and @saskia Starting where Arcane season 1 (Netflix/Riot) left off. We see a romantic take on possible events with Caitlin and Vi after Jinx hurled her rocket at Piltover. Although this follows Caitlyn and Vi closely there's a lot of story development as well that I'm having fun with. Noxus, Zaun... culminating in a massive battle... I loved Arcane. It left off too soon, so I couldn't wait to write a story based on the series. The animations, music and storytelling coupled with emotion from every character was astounding. I'm excited to see the masterful art Riot will have in store for next season. But while we wait here's something to chew on... I'd say this is mature YA (a bit of language) nothing too explicit here. Absolutely loved this series and cannon from the League of Legends world. I may have started playing LoL before it officially launched in 2009 I personally see myself in the 3 protagonists Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx. Sharing a lot of their strengths and weaknesses. Freakin love their complexities and want to dive into them more. Please comment, provide, feedback, and share. I'd love to know what you think. * I do not own any of the art or characters. Benzo found her and took her in when she was 7 she met a girl who was staring at a toy hanging above two things happened one she broke her arm falling off a roof trying to get it and two she made a best friend for life. Stories of Violyn
A series of loosely connected oneshots, depicting scenes from the life of Caitlyn and Vi in the following few months after Arcane season 2. Some are just blatant slice-of-life fluff, and some have a bit more going on narratively, dealing with stuff like Caitlyn's dad, Vi's drinking habits, the couple's home, Vi's job, etc. I don't want to break the universe, nor build on it too much, so don't expect huge events or many AU chapters. This work is starting to turn into a bit of an anthology, sometimes with wildly different chapters regarding tone, so the last chapter is the Table of Contents with short summaries to make taking your pick easier. Noxus invades both Zaun and Piltover, so to try and save their children, families send their children to Ionia Academy, a school designed to prepare its students for battle and leadership. They spend the next year training for battle, watching the invasion on the news, and writing letters to their family so they can come back at the end of the program to help end the war. Vi Jinx and Ekko leave in a hurry to the program, and she tries to find some normalcy in them after being out of prison for only a few months. She runs into Caitlyn, who she thinks is a stuck-up Pilitie Princess with no concept of hard work or struggle. Caitlyn Mel and Jayce leave Piltover right as the invasion starts and try to find some solace in their new home. Caitlyn thinks Vis egotistical and rude and spends her tike trying to ignore her smart remarks. What happens when these two end up in competition and live in the same big compound?Complete
