This is a fanfiction of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle that occurs after Mario + Rabbids: Donkey Kong Adventure and definitely before Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The Mario™ franchise is property of Nintendo, the Rabbids™ franchise is property of Ubisoft, the Sonic the Hedgehog™ franchise is property of Sega, and the Crash Bandicoot™ franchise is property of Activision. Most characters are from the video game, but some of them are original, from other video games, or inspired by the game. Most environments / worlds are from the Sonic™ and  Crash Bandicoot™ franchises and is inspired by Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. There is light romance, some possible innuendos, and other stuff; this is not recommended for a younger audience.

A giant vortex opens up above the Mushroom Kingdom, and out comes a shocked individual that states that "the worlds are collapsing" and "it was Entropy;" curious by his statements, Mario, his friends, their Rabbid doppelgängers, and Beep-0 decide to solve everything. But as they were finding out they were biting off more than they can chew, the recently distressed Kyle finally decided to pitch in and stop the extinction of all reality. Along the way, they encounter many allies, including Sonic, Crash, and more, as well as many foes including Entropy, his bodyguards, and his army of monsters and Rabbid hybrids. This threat is difficult to identify, when the only clues lie in nightmares that Kate is having. This is the point of discovery in the tale of Mario, Sonic, and Kate. This is the dark twist in the Tale of the Tale of the Three Heroes.

Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.

Will they find the person they are looking for and stop Mephiles from destroying everything? (This story is based on Sonic Prime and Sonic X Shadow Generations).
