This is the statement always told. Every time by everyone.
Everyone is born with a "soul-meter". Its what you would call a sort of incorporated clock in a person's wrist I suppose, except it counts down. On it has three numbers, six digits, to represent the time when one meets their soul mate. The months and days are counted down, when a person meets their destined one, all the numbers are zero and fade to grey. Forever in peace.

Possibly a phone call, or someone wandering on stage. He didn't really understand how the clock worked, all he knew was that the second your clock hits zero, you would kiss your soulmate.
