The destruction of the FlameWings Gem has caused Inferno to lose his power. Fear that his loss of powers won't be able to protect him from assassins around the world, Inferno must find a way to fix his FlameWings Gem while facing his darker side.

The FlameWings Gem is destroyed, and Inferno must figure out a way to fix it. But nothing could prepare him when he is interrupted by assassins from across the world. With no warning, he is thrown into dangers as he is hunted by assassins who want to kill him for what he did in the past.

Through the dragons who want to have Inferno's head on their wall are dragons who are willing to help Inferno on his path to fix the gem. The world isn't safe for him anymore, and Inferno must understand and adapt to the world he never lived in. It's time he confronts the world and fight for his life.

The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. A long time ago. When the world was ruled by Dragons, two of the highest class royalty dragons on Earth were here. The Mercy Dragons. And the Flame Dragons. Despite their names, they were both very nice people, and were the best of friends. Once the two children of the families were born, everything was perfect. Until, only a week after the baby's' birth, Prince Blade, of the Flame Dragons disappeared. The Flame Dragons blamed the Mercy Dragons, and soon after went into war. This war lasted for years. And is possibly still happening today. This is a story about a boy named Blokko Siere. When he was a baby, he was found in a forest fire, and adopted by the Siere family. He also has a brother named Eren. One day at school, he runs into a girl with beautiful white hair and eyes, and after knocking into her, hears a voice in her bag. The two meet again later in class, as she is introduced as the new exchange student, Yaoshida Mercy. The two get to know each other, and go on a little tree date. Thing end up moving fast, and after giving out some harsh words, they end up in a world of Half-Breeds, ruled by the powerful dragons. Blokko is told the truth about Yaoshida, and shortly after meets her assistant Merisiel. These three must find the mastermind behind Prince Blades fall to Earth, and stop them from destroying the world of Half-Breeds. (This story has its moment, like some cute romance scenes, and a fight scene. I put a lot of time working on this, and I hope you enjoy.)
