Savannah Hayes is as cold as ice, but for him, she burns.

At least, that's what a lot of people think. The few that really know her understand that's just a smart, independent woman who's never going to let anyone, especially not a man, tell her what to do. Savannah is no stranger to proving people's negative opinions of her wrong though, in fact, she's had good practice at it since freshmen year of college. It all started with a misunderstanding, but before she reaches the end of her senior year, she's going to write the truth. That is, until one of her least favorite people gets in the way.

Lawrence Morgan, or Lars as everyone affectionately calls him, is many things. But mainly he's a culinary genius and a machine in the skating rink, finally taking his place as the captain of CU's hockey team for his senior year. But hockey's always been a means to an end for him, never his goal. No, he's headed for Paris and one of the most prestigious cooking schools in the country, once he graduates college and fulfills the promise he made to his parents to complete a business degree that is. Oh, and completes his communications minor. But, in order to do that he'll have to work with someone he hates, and Lars prides himself that he doesn't hate many people.

But what's that they say? Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Well, Savannah and Lars are about to be almost too close for comfort, and what's worse, they might actually enjoy it.
