Here I leave this message. It's been 4 years I've been trying to endure the weakness brought by the virus onto me. I feel my days numbered, and that soon I will meet my faith. Throughout my journey, I stumbled upon a subway station just close to the uncanny tower. In here I can finally rest in peace. I wonder to myself as I lie on the cold floor of the subway station, will I be given a second chance in life to live the life I wanted?
A year after the events of Changed, Puro and Wolf Colin decided to dumpster dive deep into the laboratory tower, only to uncover a secret passage heading deeper into the laboratory. Questions arise as to what might be held deeper in the lab.

Original release: 2020 Two paths stretch before Jora as he awakens in the hospital without memory nor any known records: on one, a doctor wishes to help him recover his memory; on the other, a scientist wishes to do the same. However, on their quest for the truth, not everybody has his well-being in mind as they discover the reality of his situation puts their own goals in danger. A combination of Science Fiction and Fantasy that embraces the bizarre, and is wrapped in mystery with some aspects of horror. 2020 Author's Notes are available in the comments. I highly recommend reading the chapters first! 2024 Author's Note: This story has been cancelled, and is due to be rewritten. Many aspects may likely change in the future, though. I originally took down this story because I disliked the universe I'd set up as well as the execution of the story itself, and intended on doing a reimagining. That second take came and went, burning myself out over struggles to pace it well thanks to its highly unusual and experimental structure. This story was also taken down to prevent some of the events that occurred later in it from spoiling the latter parts of "Redwater Riot." That said, I feel like it would be a good idea to rerelease this story as a sort of museum work, a way to look at what my writing was back then and how it has changed over time. I don't intend on finishing "Polaris Garden," though I do intend on a rewrite in a later "Imperial Reach: Awakening." Something much closer to what this was than what I'd done before. It was a normal day for Y/N.. until you agree to help run a test that scientist are trying to do. They tell you that it's a new teleporting device. If it is successful, then this will change how people travel forever. You decide to be the first person to use it... However, it went horribly wrong. You pass out and wake up in a large neon city filled with strange humanoid creatures that appear to be animals... As if that wasn't bad enough.. Waking up with no memory in an abandoned institute is not a great start to anyone's day. So, like any other person, you set off to find your way out, get your bearings, and find answers to why you were locked in a stasis pod in the first place. However, this place is not as abandoned as it may first seem. Like any high-level science project gone wrong, artificial latex-like creatures are on the loose and the lone survivor (you) will undoubtedly see many of them along the way. Changed - Awakening is a fanfic based on the game Changed. Although it's not necessary to know the game, I personally recommend familiarizing yourself with it before reading this story. Growing up is difficult. The body goes through changes. Hormones mess with you. Everyone gets bullied at one point by someone. For Zora, it was worse. Not only was she bullied at school, she was bullied at home, abused by her father. She was a disgrace in everyone's eyes. Constantly suffering, she needed something that would give her hope and make her feel good about herself. Though it caused her to be bullied even more, she didn't care. She would live her life out and proud as a woman, despite how everyone saw her as a man. Hope meant nothing to her until the day her father died, prompting her to move in with her mother and stepbrother in New York, away from her transphobic community in Georgia. But moving didn't mean everything would suddenly get better. Dealing with transphobic bullies and a stepbrother who doesn't understand who she is, Zora worried she'd always endure constant ridicule. But moving somewhere new could lead to better things, like an accepting mother, friends, and a boy who finds her to be the most beautiful girl alive. Change meant new things were going to come, and if the world wasn't going to change for her, she'd have to change it herself. Pax is a fifteen year old (rising junior) with no sense of self love and also with a shitty family. He grew up in a world where he hadn't heard a lot of things even existed, like anything in the LGBT spectrum, and he'd grown up in churches that exiled the word "gay". In sixth grade, everything finally clicked. He was transgender. Just because he realized it, though, didn't mean his entire life would become perfect. From the time he was twelve on, he was sick and confused and altogether terrified of what he's become. After he came out to all of friends, most of them ditched him until his only friends were the school's gay power couple and a nonbinary internet friend he'd never even talked to in real life, and only them to help him and figure out everything that needs figuring out. In this coming-out story, I delve basically into what was my young teenage years - so I included quite a lot of things I went through. Some triggers this might include are: -transphobia -homophobia -vague references to self harm -suicidal thoughts & actions -SPOILER: Pax is kicked out at some point; I'd suggest that you don't read it if you're not comfortable with that because that's the climax. 600 reads?? 100 votes???
